Dr Tania Hetz is dedicated to creating outstanding, healthy, and beautiful smiles in a warm, patient-focused environment.

Originally from Cologne, Germany Dr Hetz graduated with a BDS in Mexico and Germany (Honours). After working as a general dentist for a year she did her Masters Degree in Orthodontics and Orofacial Orthopaedics at the University of Aachen, Germany and obtained her Doctorate in Orthodontics from the University of Düsseldorf.
She returned to Mexico to combine running her own busy practice with her passion of lecturing and scientific research, which she did for 13 semesters as senior lecturer at the Postgraduate Program of Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara.

With +20 years of experience Dr. Hetz and is highly qualified in orthodontics and orofacial orthopaedics and has an impressive list of qualifications behind her name. These include:

Doctorate in Orthodontics and Orofacial Orthopaedics (Düsseldorf)
Master in Orthodontics and Orafacial Orthopaedics (Aachen)
Bachelor of Dentistry (Guadalajara and Cologne) (Magna cum Laude)

Dr. Hetz has always enjoyed keeping up to date with the latest in orthodontic literature and science and has translated and edited orthodontic textbooks (O-atlas). Dr Hetz is also an active member of the following organisations:

Dr. Hetz has travelled extensively and says a highlight of her travels was the humanitarian work she did with remote indigenous cultures. In her spare time, she enjoys playing tennis, swimming, dancing, cooking, gardening and yoga.

Fleur is committed to looking after all our patients and ensuring exceptional customer service and patient care is provided throughout their orthodontic treatment. In Fleur’s spare time you can find her walking the beach or stand up paddle boarding.

Elyzia Arreola

Elyzia graduated from The University of Otago as a registered Oral Health Therapist in 2018, with experience working in both public and private health sectors in Auckland. At The Tooth Company, Elyzia aims to provide quality oral hygiene treatments including teeth whitening, liaises with our Paediatric Dental Specialist to provide routine dental care for children from infancy to adolescence, and assists our Orthodontic Specialist with many orthodontic treatments.

Elyzia strongly believes in ‘prevention is better than cure’, taking on a holistic approach by tailoring treatment plans to the individuals needs to get the best possible outcomes. She always strives to create a comfortable dental environment and influence a positive perspective on dentistry for patients while in her care at The Tooth Company.

Outside of dentistry, Elyzia loves to explore different cuisines, and thrives in all aspects of fitness such as yoga, hiking, aerial fitness, and strength training.

Hi, My name is Katrina, I am an Oral Health Therapist who is dual trained in Dental Therapy and Dental Hygiene. I graduated from Auckland University of Technology in 2018, and have worked as a full time dental therapist at the Waikato District Health Board looking after children and adolescents and also part time working for a private dental practice providing hygiene treatments . One of my strengths would be my delicate hand skills which help me provide gentle care for our patients. I am very passionate about working in the dental industry and continue to strive to provide the most current treatment approaches.

On my days off I enjoy getting out in the fresh air and going fishing with friends. I also have a creative side and enjoy painting, pottery.

Rhianna Nolan


Rhianna is new to The Tooth Company after a background in both pharmacy and customer service.  

Rhianna enjoys meeting and getting to know The Tooth Company’s patients. She loves being the first person to greet patients as they come into the practice.

Rhianna was born in the UK but has spent most of her life in NZ and now calls it her home.

When Rhianna is not at The Tooth Company she enjoys going out and exploring NZ. Spending most summers road tripping and finding new walking trails and places to explore.

Andrew is the founder of the Tooth Company and one of the principle dentists.

After developing a large following at his previous practice in Albany, he decided it was time to put together a team of like minded professionals and share his style of dentistry with the rest of Auckland.
Andrew’s approach to his patients is relaxed, adaptable and caring, and clinically he is a perfectionist. Andrew provides all facets of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry.

Andrew dedicates time each year to travel to a range of international conferences and courses to ensure his skills and knowledge, and the service provided by the Tooth Company, are at the forefront of dental care in New Zealand.

Andrew lives on the North Shore with his wife Emma and daughter Amelia.

Member of the New Zealand Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, New Zealand Society of Sedation in Dentistry, Auckland Dental Association and the New Zealand Dental Association.

Dr Caitlin Grant

Caitlin completed her BDS in Otago, followed by working for the Auckland District health Board (ADHB) for two years as a maxillo-facial and dental house surgeon. After two years in private practice and a passion for Paediatric Dentistry, she moved to Sydney where she was employed as a Paediatric dental registrar for 3 years at the Sydney Children’s hospital and at the Westmead Centre for Oral health. She completed her DClinDent through the University of Sydney and is a member of the Royal college of dental surgeons, in her speciality.

Caitlin holds the vice-president appointment for the Australasian Academy of Paediatric dentistry. She currently works part-time in private practice, part-time at Starship Children’s hospital, and part-time as a Mum to her active toddler, Theo. Her main interests include paediatric oral surgery and providing care for children with special needs, dental anomalies and enamel defects. Caitlin’s current research ventures include: investigating paediatric oral pathology in a large tertiary referral centre, investigating the family impact of child orofacial cleft and the effectiveness of oral health promotion interventions during adolescence: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

She is currently part of the research team at the Starship Children’s Hospital investigating the Validation of a Respiratory Checklist for children with Cerebral Palsy in New Zealand.
